With the knowledge and experiences I have obtained through my journey. I will be able to enrich others lives by equipping them with skills and techniques to be successful in the hair industry.”
ChopStar, Steven D. Gilbert has been in the hair industry for over 20 years. His education in the hair industry commenced at Louisiana Vocational Technical College in Shreveport, Louisiana. He continued his education at Setting the Standard Barbering and Natural Hair Academy to enhance his skills and education in the hair industry by obtaining an Instructor’s License.
ChopStar has a strong desire to make a profound impact on the lives of those he meets by helping them through education. He believes that with his knowledge, skills and educational credentials, he can positively affect the national community by serving as a mentor and teaching individuals a craft that will provide them with means to an honest living.
